We introduced an update to improve the user experience.","type":"text"}]},{"type":"paragraph","content":[{"text":"Request Types modules used to display all the request types from a given JSM project. It was possible to specify the ID of a JSM project not added in the Site Builder. However, users were then led to Atlassian when they click the module. We received feedback that this was often confusing for those who set up the module, as well as for end-users.","type":"text"}]},{"type":"heading","attrs":{"level":2},"content":[{"text":"What the update means for you","type":"text"}]},{"type":"paragraph","content":[{"text":"Since the update, you’re only able to specify project IDs of JSM projects that are added to your site in the Site Builder. This ensures that users always create requests directly on your Refined site without switching context. The update also adds flexibility: it lets you add multiple JSM projects to a module and specify exactly which groups to display.","type":"text"}]},{"type":"paragraph","content":[{"text":"Request Types modules with a JSM project ID of a project not added in the Site Builder appear empty after the update.","type":"text","marks":[{"type":"strong"}]},{"text":" In the layout editor, Request Types modules now show a message that the JSM project needs to be added to the site builder to display content.","type":"text"}]},{"type":"paragraph","content":[{"text":"This issue impacts a small number of customers, whom we notified with instructions on how to prevent this issue. In December 2022 we added an announcement banner in their Refined Administration. A separate communication via email has gone out Jan 2nd, 2023. ","type":"text"}]},{"type":"heading","attrs":{"level":2},"content":[{"text":"What you can do to fix blank Request Types modules","type":"text"}]},{"type":"paragraph","content":[{"text":"Since the update, you’ll see that a module is affected if it’s empty on your site.
